Home is where the heart is

Greetings all,

In the early years of our marriage we lived in a mobile home. My husband and I would dream of building our own house and drew up plans, refining them over the years. We had so many ideas.

It took a few years before we could finally build a new house. We didn’t build our dream home because the property we bought already had a basement ready to build on. But it was still fun to make plans. However it also took a lot of decisions. And even after all that, there are things I would have done differently. I still have a number of dream home ideas floating around my head, but I certainly don’t want to do that all over again. So I had to do it vicariously. Through my heroines. It’s so much easier to have my heroine making the decisions and choices. And make the plans. The book I’m writing now has my heroine living out her dream of building a log home. And she needs the hero’s help to get it done.

So, let’s talk -Have you had plans for a dream home? Did you get a chance to build it?

If you had to choose from the above, which one would you pick?

Just last week I told you about a box set I have out - Family Ties - Rockyview Romances Season One. Well, this week I have the second season out in a box set - Family Bonds - Rockyview Romances - Season Two. You can buy both sets now. Click on the cover to get your copy of the Family Bonds series. And, bonus, if you’re in Kindle Unlimited each box set counts as only one book. So you can binge read all you want. I hope you enjoy Rockyview!

And I hope and pray that you will all have a blessed Thanksgiving. After losing a dear family member, I feel like it's even more important to take time to be together. To enjoy those moments when we can. I'm thankful for my family and I pray that this Thanksgiving you will have blessed moments with yours.
